The Sacred Coal is planted to join forces with ancestors and with each other.
Urmas Sõõrumaa, the initiator and creator of the sacred Hiie, says: “Just as the Hiie evolves over time, I too had the knowledge to create such a common circle through years of planting trees.
It’s easy to identify with a tree – you have the roots and you have the crown, you are the trunk, the link between different generations. When you get to know these trees, they all have their own character, just like people. A tree is one of the means of contact with ancestors.
The Sunflower will be planted on 15 May 2021.
Pühali Hiis is located next to the Pühali Wellness Center. All are welcome to walk, reflect and be in the Hiis.
