Rain Pärnaste
Rain is a passionate sauna enthusiast and trainer. His earliest sauna memories date back to childhood, when he visited a traditional smoke sauna in the countryside every week. Ever since then, he has been fascinated by the essence of the sauna—the glowing heat of the wood-fired stove and the enchanting aroma of fresh birch whisks. The sauna is traditionally a place to enjoy the steam, experience whisking and spend time together in conversation. Rain offers his guests much more than simply heat and whisking. For the past seven years, he has been sharing Estonian sauna traditions by creating engaging sauna rituals that combine traditional birch whisk treatments, relaxing sounds, honey body scrubs and refreshing herbal tea.
Working with different groups, he tailors each experience to suit the occasion—whether it is a deeply relaxing sauna ritual or a lively and memorable experience filled with emotion and laughter.
Kristina Paškevicius
Kristina is an experienced and professionally trained sauna master and nature therapist who has a remarkable ability to create and hold a safe, welcoming space for every guest.
Sauna ritual
The sauna calms the mind and brings clarity to the thoughts. It is a place for both physical and spiritual cleansing. The most traditional ritual introduces the Estonian sauna heritage by honouring the spirit of the sauna through salt, honey and traditional birch whisk treatments. It is suitable for families, groups of friends and corporate teams alike.
We also offer special rituals for hen and stag parties, sensual sauna rituals for couples, solstice rituals, personalised paired birch whisk rituals and much more. We can also create a unique sauna ritual tailored specifically to your group.
The complete sauna ritual, including the introduction, the ritual itself and a relaxing closing moment with tea, lasts approximately 3 hours.
Elis Seppius
Elis is a psychologist, therapist, sauna mistress and a guardian of Estonia’s smoke sauna heritage. Over the past two years, she has travelled throughout Estonia, Scandinavia and Poland, leading ceremonies in both private and larger saunas, at intimate gatherings and major festivals alike. Her calling is to create healing connections between people and the sauna. Her work is guided by the belief that every sauna holds a powerful healing potential when experienced consciously.
Elis describes it this way: “The saunas in our homes are like small chapels in Estonia’s great forest cathedral. These humble and private buildings offer everything a person truly needs—a safe space to experience one’s physical existence, a reminder of the cycle of rebirth, the awe of discovering the limitless space within the heart, and the endless love that connects generations across time. The hot stones and steam inside a small dark sauna are elements that unite us all—from the indigenous peoples of Siberia to people all around the world.”
In addition to traditional sauna rituals, Elis also leads ceremonial bridal sauna rituals that incorporate ancient traditions and offer the bride warmth, care and blessings as she begins a new chapter in her life.
Kaupo Sõrmus
Kaupo is a sauna master and a dedicated keeper of traditional sauna culture.
He has had a deep connection with the sauna since childhood. His lifelong love for the sauna naturally grew into his calling. For Kaupo, the sauna is a sacred place.
He believes that in today’s fast-paced world people need to reconnect with themselves, and that the sauna offers one of the safest paths for doing so. It is a place where the mind can become quiet, free from everyday noise, allowing a journey into one’s own inner universe.
Through Kaupo’s sauna journeys, you can reconnect with your authentic inner self and carry that feeling with you into everyday life.
Through his rituals, he hopes to pass on a deep connection with the true essence of the sauna and an understanding of how it has supported and sustained people for countless generations.
In his rituals, Kaupo uses shamanic drums, healing sounds, herbal aromas and, of course, traditional birch whisks. Everything is guided by intuition and adapted to the wishes and needs of each group.
